No problem. We will provide training and support. Our ideal candidates have experience working in retail and customer service, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. That often looks like: Radically Welcoming guests, donors, and volunteers. Accepting, sorting, pricing, stocking, and merchandising donations. Contributing to a healthy, productive, and supportive work environment. Answering basic questions about the store and our nonprofit mission. Collaborating with teammates to meet daily goals. Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized donations area, sales floor, sales counter, and processing area. Depending on experience and interest, some team members may also take on: Operating a point of sale (POS) system, handling cash, and ensuring accuracy, including opening and reconciling registers, counting drawers and deposits, and bank deposits. Serving as a contact for guest escalations if needed, and resolving concerns with care. Supporting our People Leaders with process improvements and communications, including leading continuous improvement projects.
