This position will be based in Mounds View, MN. The Cardiovascular Technical Communication team is seeking a Requirements Technical Writer to develop and maintain standards and guidance documents for labeling requirements. This role supports global labeling compliance by assessing regulatory changes, translating requirements into actionable and traceable inputs, and enabling efficient implementation across labeling teams. The position works with cross‑functional partners and provides training to stakeholders and leverages AI to improve operational efficiency and business impact. Requirements

  • A Baccalaureate degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, Or advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference for a labeling or technical communications background
  • Experience in a regulated industry
  • Experience or understanding of device tracing, design controls, background/experience in AI.
  • Practical knowledge of project management.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess new and changing global laws, regulations, standards, and guidance documents for labeling requirements and effort and impact of implementation of requirements.
  • Distill labeling requirements into verifiable engineering statements following established processes and style guide, tag with metadata, coordinate verification process and enter information in relevant database for use by labeling developers.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts from various disciplines, including but not limited to, technical writers, package and labeling, regulatory, quality, cyber security, and engineering functions, for clarification and verification of requirements.
  • Help to administer data repository, including creating metadata, managing requirement objects, evaluating software updates, etc.
  • Assist with training development and delivery to system users.
  • This position may support other team activities, such as, managing team schedule, website, newsletter, metrics, office hours, etc.
  • Leverage the use of AI in daily work.
