In support of Product Manager Engineer Systems, we are seeking a Requirements Analyst with experience in supporting DoW Federal requirements development; acquisition programs; and knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors is preferred with Ten (10) years of relevant experience including with DoW standards.
  • Researching, analyzing, and writing requirements and processes based on identified organizational needs.
  • Eight (8) years of direct experience may be substituted for a master's degree.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, producing highly accurate work while proactively identifying discrepancies; takes pride in precision and high-quality standards.
  • Comfortable leading and guiding working groups of various military and civilian experiences and expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong technical writing ability.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
  • This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive experience with DoW requirements development, acquisitions, and federal budget processes.
  • Demonstrated background in writing USMC or other joint service materiel requirements.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Practitioner (or higher) in: Acquisition Management (ACQ), Business Cost Estimating (BCE), Business Financial Management (BFM), Engineering (ENG), Life Cycle Logistics (LCL), Test & Evaluation (T&E).
  • Military operational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform requirements analysis tasks in accordance with guidance provided by the Senior Requirements Analyst and Engineer Branch Head.
  • Will assist or independently develop Marine Corps requirements documents such as but not limited to: Capabilities Based Assessments (CBA), Requirement Memorandums (RM), Capability Requirements Changes (CRC), Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capabilities Development Documents (CDD), Concepts of Employment (CoE), Operational Graphics (e.g., Operational View (OV)-1), etc.
  • Participate in working group meetings with clients to develop USMC capability studies and corresponding materiel requirements documentation required to mitigate approved capability gaps.
  • Develop, monitor, and update a consolidated Engineer Branch Capability Gap Solutions Plan.
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating working group meetings.
  • Participate in Engineer Branch meetings and be prepared to provide updates on current and planned tasks.
  • Maintain electronic document libraries on the Logistics Combat Element Division (LCED), Engineer Branch SharePoint and Teams pages.
