The National Health Law Program (NHeLP) protects and advances the health rights of low-income and underserved individuals. NHeLP engages in national, state, and local advocacy efforts, including analyses of federal and state laws, policy advocacy, litigation, continuing legal education, and individual technical support. We work with lawyers and advocates, community-based entities, federal and state policymakers, researchers, health care providers, and clients. NHeLP is committed to health equity—ensuring that everyone has access to the resources they need to be healthy—and to cultivating an internal environment that empowers an exceptional and diverse staff. For more information, see our Equity Stance. NHeLP’s Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Team works to build a future in which all people in the United States have equitable access to the full range of reproductive and sexual health services, free from discrimination. While not a reproductive justice organization, NHeLP approaches SRH work through that lens. The Project Manager facilitates collaboration across NHeLP staff, external partners, and other community stakeholders. This role will involve skilled project management that requires coordinating teams and meetings, the administration of logistical and financial processes, and ensuring the completion of the Project within budget and scope. Success will mean well-coordinated external and internal engagement, timely and accurate stipend administration, and steady progress toward project milestones. This is a project-based, 36-month position. The Project Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the Medicaid and Reproductive Health Policy Agenda, a complex, multi-stakeholder initiative. This role will be responsible for coordinating meetings, managing financial and administrative processes, ensuring deadlines are met, and supporting external and internal collaboration. The Project Manager will work closely with NHeLP’s finance, development, and program teams, as well as with external partners and consultants. Success in this role will mean that project activities are efficiently managed, stakeholders are engaged and informed, and the project achieves its grant-supported objectives.
