The primary function of this position is to oversee the receiving of scopes, entering information in computer systems, and operating reprocessing and related cleaning equipment. The secondary duties include sorting and prioritizing scopes for inbound inspection and supporting inbound inspections as needed. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude, be a proven problem solver and be proficient with written and verbal communication.
  • Familiar with common endoscope reprocessing chemicals.
  • Methodical thinker that can receive and process information in a short amount of time.
  • Quick learner that can make decisions on his/her own and troubleshoot problems.
  • Mathematical skills needed.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be self-motivated to continue learning.
  • Must have good people skills and interact with several departments.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret essential job-related documents.
  • Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point proficient.
  • Overtime and occasional weekends may be necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control automated cleaning equipment.
  • Accurately document processes and input information in company systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate issues to appropriate parties.
  • Must be comfortable working with cleaning chemicals.
  • Support endoscope failure analysis after scope reprocessing and report scope conditions to inbound inspection team. (10-15%)
  • Other duties as required.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
