About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop new accounts while maintaining existing ones. Ensure margin optimization. Meet or exceed specified sales and tonnage targets annually. Provide quarterly forecasts for budgeting purposes. Explore and exploit sales opportunities within the assigned territory. Foster relationships with key decision-makers in both current and potential customer bases. Deliver value-added propositions to customers and the organization. Initiate and oversee quotes/contracts between customers and Samuel, serving as the primary point of contact for any issues, concerns, or opportunities within the designated territory. Manage inventory and expenses effectively. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our capabilities and products within the Samuel organization, as well as a thorough understanding of competitor profiles in the territory. Attend trade shows and conferences within the assigned territory. Continuously pursue personal development opportunities to enhance effectiveness within the territory. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while maintaining organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines. Preferably a college degree with prior experience in the metals industry. Proficiency in AS 400, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as internet navigation and other miscellaneous computer software as required by suppliers. Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Prior experience supporting defense and/or government customers is a plus. The base salary range for this position is $97,760 – $134,420 . Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location, relevant skills and experience, and internal equity considerations. This role is eligible to participate in the applicable Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements. Requirements
