About The Position

The Senior Analyst is the technical engine behind our Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) strategy. You will be responsible for architecting the logic that maps the customer journey to enterprise performance. This role requires strong Snowflake SQL expertise—moving beyond simple querying into the development of complex stored procedures, dynamic tables, and automated data pipelines. You won't just report data; you will build the models that dictate how we invest our capital across marketing and operational channels. The Senior Reporting Analytics Analyst provides reporting and analytical support for operations employees who execute transactions and operations managers responsible for the performance of their respective teams. As the Senior Analyst, your responsibilities include developing and tracking of key statistical information and performance metrics, preparing various reporting views, gathering requirements for new reporting, organizing and presenting data to multiple levels of management.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in use of SQL and Snowflake to gather data from a variety of sources
  • Highly proficient skills with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in meeting and presenting to Senior Management

Nice To Haves

  • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Snowflake SQL code, including stored procedures (SPs), to support analytics, attribution modeling for reporting needs.
  • Optimize queries and data models to support large-scale attribution and customer-level analytics.
  • Manage and support Snowflake deployments, including version control, promotion across environments (dev/test/prod), and deployment validation.
  • Utilize SQL and Snowflake to query various databases for responses to ad-hoc data requests
  • Research data tables to gather relevant data for new reports
  • Provide analytical support to Operations employees, Operations Managers, and Senior Managers of the Data Management team
  • Design and develop new reports as needed by Operations teams and PNMAC upper management
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing for system updates, data migrations, and database/schema changes
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
  • Design, develop, and maintain Multi-Touch Attribution models (e.g., linear, time-decay, position-based, algorithmic) to measure the impact of customer and marketing touchpoints across channels.
  • Partner with Marketing and Digital teams to translate attribution insights into actionable recommendations for channel optimization and budget allocation.
  • Develop advanced analytical models to support forecasting, performance measurement, and strategic decision-making.
