About The Position

Ragan Communications seeks a reporter and content programmer with a passion for educating audiences. We’re a media company with a service-based mission, and we work to bring the best professional development and relevant news to public relations, external communications and social media professionals in a way that’s approachable, engaging and useful. We aren’t looking for scoops on which agency landed what account — we're looking for stories on how they pulled off that cool campaign, how to better measure PR efforts, what AI means for the future of our profession and what we can learn from all of the above. In a typical week, you might write up an interview with the CCO of a Fortune 100 company, dream up a session for our latest conference, grab a coffee with the head of an agency division and scour news sites for the biggest stories with a PR slant for The Daily Scoop. You’ll work with a team of editors, writers and conference producers in a supportive remote environment.
