About The Position

Worldwide Oilfield Machine (WOM) is a multinational equipment manufacturer specialized in solutions for drilling, testing, production, and intervention operations. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, WOM currently has 2,500+ employees in manufacturing facilities, engineering centers, sales offices, and assembly/testing workshops around the world. In addition to domestic locations in Texas and Colorado, we also have facilities in the UAE, India, Scotland, Singapore, and Brazil. We are currently seeking an Rental and Repair Service Technician for our Fairmont Facility located in the Houston area.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or a GED equivalent or equivalent work experience
  • 6 Months Assembly/Testing experience preferred.
  • Possess the ability to successfully complete all training courses required for the position

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and parts lists
  • Ability to follow formal WOM procedures and maintenance practices
  • Coordinates and assists with equipment repairs and maintenance of WOM products
  • Test, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection.
  • Represents the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Complete other tasks and assignments as assigned
  • Understand the equipment to be assembled or Disassembled as required
  • Verify all the parts are available as per BOM given in the job packet and all the parts are in good condition to assemble
  • Verify all the dismantled parts are available & stamp with appropriate WI
  • Assemble the parts as per drawing in accordance with assembly work instruction and Product specification
  • Report the issues faced in disassembly, assembly and testing
  • Trouble shoot assembly and testing problems faced in a project with the help of manager and/or the engineering
  • Pressure test the equipment in accordance to test procedure mentioned in EPSR
  • Record the pressure test and fill out all the necessary documents such as Pressure test charts, Assembly router
  • Complete out all the post hydro test operation if required
  • Check all the outgoing assemblies for their completeness
  • Make sure all the equipment’s used for assembly and testing are in working condition and duly calibrated & inform manager and/or supervisor or QA/QC personal if not within calibration date
  • Understand Quality Policy and comply with QMS
  • Comply with Health and safety rules
  • Look after and maintain all the tools and fixture in working condition
  • Keep work area/station neat & clean
