Duties and Responsibilities: As a Repair Technician I, you will work with raw materials (steel) while operating overhead cranes setting specialty parts into production machine centers (MVR) while verifying parts to pre-programmed data. Your day will also include housekeeping of your production center at beginning and end of shift, as well as material movements using mobile equipment. will perform a variety of advanced production (machine operating) duties while adhering to Caterpillar’s core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, commitment, and sustainability. Repair Technicians will effectively interact and communicate with facility management, manufacturing engineers, and production employees to help ensure and improve processes within the facility. Pay Rate and Schedule: The position includes the following wage extensions: 2nd Shift , Repair Technician I, includes a total wage of $19.55/hr, this includes a shift differential (base extension wage of $18.55/hr + shift differential of $1.00/hr). Additionally, you will be eligible for a comprehensive day-one benefit program, generous paid time off, and retirement benefits, as well as weekly pay. Requirements

6 months of production machine operation experience
Proficient computer skills

Nice To Haves

Successful completion of classroom, electronic or hands on assembly or quality training
Advanced data analytic skills and in-depth knowledge with Excel and/or Access
Experience operating gantry and overhead cranes
Experience operating mobile/forklift equipment
