Summary: Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth in the current procedures and manuals including FAA part 145. Perform intermediate evaluation and repair/assembly/test. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following others may be assigned: · Improve work methods and tooling · Report any safety problems to management · Follow all environmental, health and safety policies · Keep work area clean and orderly · Manage ones own time efficiently · Evaluate self work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards · Perform intermediate repair operation including bench assembly/disassembly, test, soldering, flaring, riveting, tube bending and mechanical assembly of high quality products efficiently, accurately, safely and on time · Use oven, drill press, parts washer, bearing press, down draft table, ultra sonic cleaner, balancer and vacuum pump · Use electronic devices such as multi meter, power supplies, ESDS wrist bands, hydrogen leak detector, RPM meter, AMP meter, hi pot tester, tension meter, mili ohm meter, vibration meter, digital thermometer and LCR- capacitance tester · Using hand tools, drills, calipers, heat gun, die grinder, height gages, bench center, lock wire pliers, blind rivet guns, torque wrenches, safety cable tool and nutsert installation tool. · Use current drawings and/or schematics to assemble/repair · Clock in and out of bar codes to begin and complete work orders · Read and answer email daily · Using basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel · Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Electronic Test Data · Wearing the proper safety equipment · Other duties as assigned Employee will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations. “Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability”
