About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Visually and dimensionally inspect parts to print. Uphold the quality and integrity of all parts manufactured. Support operations to help meet internal/external goals to both our suppliers and customers. Utilize CMM to inspect diameters, gauge points and various liner dimensions. Able to understand drawings and routing detail to assure product is complete and conforming Review material certs to assure product is manufactured for correct material Record/document all receiving, in-process, and final inspection findings as required 5S+ involvement which includes but not limited to your working area Uphold quality integrity and generate non-conformance reports when parts don't meet specifications Uphold quality standards and follow all applicable procedures Perform contract review. Learn/Use MFGPro SSM (Service Support Module) to receive repairs and record Teardown Reports. Dis-assemble repairs and perform detailed visual inspections. Select the proper technical data and routers for incoming repairs. Technical data includes, but is not limited to, specifications, blueprints, technical documents, engine shop manuals, component maintenance manuals. Prepare release to service certificates (FAA, FAA/EASA, CAAC). This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Beltsville area (50 miles) will be considered for this position. Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Possible exposure to radiation through the use of a XRF device for scanning material Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in manufacturing processes
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Beltsville area (50 miles) will be considered for this position. Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • FAA Requirement: Must understand, read, and write English language
  • Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. unassisted
  • DOT Safety Sensitive
  • Advance Blue Print reading and GD &T courses are a Plus
  • Strong mechanical/technical aptitude
  • Computer skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Low DPPM
  • Proficient in the understanding, interpretation, and use of GD&T preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis.

  • Previous leadership experience and knowledge of MFGPro preferred
