About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Collision Repair Planner (ESTIMATOR) to join our team. This position is a critical role inside of the shop and will be writing the repair plan of each vehicle. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator — both verbally and in writing — who thrives in a fast-paced setting, is tech-savvy, and is eager to grow their career within a dynamic company.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the front office, customer service, or administrative role (automotive or body shop experience a plus but not required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Collision estimating experience.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and eager to grow within the company.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer concerns effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a strong understanding of how to use technology, including email systems, CRM platforms, and other digital communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with technicians in shop to blueprint each vehicle entering production.
  • Write repair plans based upon OEM procedures.
  • Communicate repair updates clearly to Collision Repair Advisors.
  • Support the management team with administrative tasks, data entry, and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment.
  • Assist with filing insurance claims and coordinating with adjusters.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward professional development and career advancement opportunities.
  • Source Parts for repairs in-process.
  • Manage production workflow for all cars in-process.
  • Coordinate Sublet any necessary sublet repairs.
