About The Position

Our Hudson Pump Division is hiring a Repair Coordinator to support our OEM-authorized repair shop in Lakeland, FL. This role keeps repair jobs organized and moving through the shop - from initial intake through quoting, parts procurement, documentation of teardown and remanufacture, and final invoicing. The position is heavily computer-based, working within our ERP system, but it also involves regular time in the shop working with mechanics to assess equipment and support job planning. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working around both systems and shop operations, this role is a key part of how our service business runs. Our service offerings include system analysis and design, applications engineering, custom fabrication of equipment packages, automation and controls, equipment repair, and thermal hard coatings. tencarva.com The Role On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be managing multiple repair jobs at different stages - building quotes, sourcing parts, tracking progress, and making sure everything is lined up for the shop to execute the work. You’ll work directly with mechanics to translate tear-down findings into clear repair scopes and bills of material, while also coordinating with sales and vendors to keep timelines and pricing aligned. This role is detail-driven and fast-moving. Success comes from staying organized, following through, and keeping jobs from stalling or falling through the cracks.

Requirements

  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities at once
  • Comfortable working in ERP systems and handling order/repair documentation
  • Ability to read parts breakdowns, manuals, and basic mechanical drawings
  • Clear communication with both shop personnel and vendors
  • Reliable follow-through - making sure tasks are completed, not just started
  • Experience in service/repair coordination, inside sales, and/or order management
  • Familiarity with purchasing, quoting, or parts sourcing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial, mechanical, or skilled trade environments preferred
  • Exposure to pumps, rotating equipment, industrial fluid process systems, etc. is a huge plus
  • Background working with technicians, mechanics, or shop environments is highly valuable

Responsibilities

  • Check in equipment and prepare documentation for teardown and inspection (DCI)
  • Review teardown findings and work with shop personnel to define repair scope
  • Identify required parts, labor, machining, and outside services for each repair
  • Build bills of material and prepare repair quotes with clear scope and pricing
  • Work with sales to finalize and send quotes to customers
  • Order parts and coordinate with vendors to support ongoing repairs
  • Track job progress and help maintain shop schedule and workflow
  • Ensure parts and materials are available to meet repair timelines
  • Handle repair documentation, records, and equipment history in the ERP system
  • Support communication between shop, sales, and vendors
  • Close out repair orders and ensure accurate invoicing
