About The Position

Join our dynamic team as a Repair and Maintenance Supervisor, where you will lead a skilled group of technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance and production efficiency. You will provide hands-on training and coaching, fostering a collaborative environment that drives continuous improvement. Your role will involve scheduling preventive maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, and conduct root cause analyses to enhance our maintenance strategies. Imagine being the key link between shifts, ensuring seamless communication and alignment towards our goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred or 15 or more years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
  • Over ten years of industrial maintenance supervisory experience. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level
  • Hands-on expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance processes.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC systems (Allen Bradley or Siemens).
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of multi-skilled technicians to achieve equipment uptime and production targets.
  • Schedule and optimize preventive maintenance to align with production needs.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and enhance maintenance performance.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure timely equipment repairs and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute maintenance projects optimally.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of maintenance activities and workforce utilization.
