About The Position

The Repacker, under general supervision, is responsible for manually packing single products into multiple pack cartons for retail sale, repackaging products from damaged containers into new cartons, checking products for damage, and labeling and palletizing cartons in preparation for shipping. This role involves efficiently stacking and storing merchandise in the appropriate area, picking orders for shipment, assembling various types of merchandise to be shipped, and performing labeling, sorting, and wrapping. The Repacker must also check or count product for accuracy and/or damage and infestation, conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety in compliance with OSHA Standards, participate in physical inventories as needed, and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to pay close attention to details, meet deadlines, and read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues and supervisors
• Experience using box cutters and automatic shrink film wrappers safely and efficiently
