If you want to revolutionize the way the world moves, start here.  Job DescriptionOur Inside Sales Representative is a solutions provider to our industrial test and measurement customers. You will spend time creating a complete solution for customers across a wide variety of industries and applications.   The Inside Sales Representative works closely with the Field sales team and key account managers to ensure customers receive a high level of support. They will have a sales quota for assigned accounts and support the field sales territories for common customers. They are responsible for reaching new opportunity creation, funnel management, and sales targets.   There will be a fast pace of launching new sales campaigns, lead generation, and opportunity follow-up. You will know when and how to introduce other Evident technical experts and industry specialists to our customers as part of your winning strategy.   You must have an entrepreneurial drive to target, educate, and persuade customers to use Evident innovative product solutions. Location: Houston, TX area preferred, however this position is 100% remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a science, engineering, or equivalent knowledge is required.
  • One to three years’ experience in inside or outside sales, preferably selling to manufacturing customers, as well as large and local military and government entities.
  • Proven history of success in a business-to-business environment.
  • Ability to create and deliver persuasive, clear, and concise presentations, product demonstrations, and emails to various audiences.
  • Using digital means to reach customers using virtual meetings and demonstrations.
  • Experience using CRM, sales automation, and sales enablement tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer experience with technical instruments and application software.
  • Knowledge of NDT or the industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively make outbound sales calls to customers to demonstrate the value of our company and equipment solutions.
  • Support the outside sales team and key account managers by providing quotation and sales support to a defined customer base.
  • Contact and qualify customers requesting information via phone, internet, and other sources.
  • Perform virtual product demonstrations.
  • Provide basic technical support for conventional ultrasonic equipment.
  • Closing sales to achieve an annual sales target defined for the inside sales channel.
  • Perform weekly sales opportunity and forecast reviews within the CRM environment.
  • Manage customer relationships to assigned accounts and territories.
  • Maintain a high level of customer activity to maximize the sales pipeline and increase closing percentages.
  • Create and execute focused industry and account specific sales campaigns.
  • Use the national technical specialists and market specialists in a creative way to close sales
