About The Position

The Rentals Cashier position at Mt. Hood Skibowl involves a variety of responsibilities centered around providing excellent customer service to guests visiting the resort. The primary duties include selling lift tickets, passes, retail items, and rental equipment, making the cashier the first point of contact for guests. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the Skibowl and Mt. Hood area to effectively answer a wide range of questions from guests. The cashier will utilize a computerized tracking system for managing retail equipment rentals and handling cash transactions accurately. In addition to sales, the Rentals Cashier is responsible for setting up, stocking, cleaning, and organizing retail stores as needed. This position demands adherence to proper cash handling procedures and maintaining the highest safety standards and code compliance for both guests and staff. The cashier will also be expected to assist in other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Senior Team, or VP/GM. The role requires a positive attitude and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment, often under varying hours, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will be proactive in addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors to the resort.
