Rental Warehouse Associate
About The Position
The Rental Warehouse Associate role is responsible for inspecting all incoming and outgoing rental tradeshow exhibit crates/cases/pallets and carpets to ensure contents are correct and in working order and performing inventory control and other material handling duties as required. What you will do: Attend rental project launch meetings as needed to ensure up to date with needs of the project and operational requirements Operate the forklift to transport crates and exhibit materials in warehouse Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times Prepare rental exhibit crate contents prior to shipment to ensure correct and fully functioning components Inspect incoming shipments to determine condition and return to appropriate storage locations Perform minor repairs and clean exhibit properties and crates as needed based on inspections Ensure compliance with standard work procedures and quality standards Complete all necessary computerized inventory control functions Direct warehouse associates when helping in rental department Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required
- Basic computer skills (Email, MS Office)
- Ability to frequently lift up to 80 pounds
- High attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong working knowledge of safety requirements and safe working practices
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with exhibits
- Previous experience in the tradeshow industry preferred
- Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred
