Requirements

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
Ability to work Saturdays
Computer skills and ability to learn new software
Strong communication skills
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for the majority of your shift
Ability to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shift

Responsibilities

Identifying customer needs to correctly recommend the right tool or equipment
Creating, modifying, and closing customer contracts accurately
Loading, unloading, and organizing rental equipment around the yard
Communicating professionally with customers via phone, email, and in person
Instructing customers on tool and equipment safety, operation, loading, and unloading
Inspecting tools, equipment, and trailers for damage and reporting repairs needed
Recording hours and fuel levels upon rental and return
Creating and closing service work orders on the computer
Troubleshooting equipment issues for customers in person and on the phone
Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment
Conducting daily inventory reports for tools and equipment inside the store and outside in the yard
Scheduling ongoing maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition
Conducting regular maintenance and minor repairs on various rental equipment (changing fluids, replacing filters, ignition replacements, changing hydraulic lines, and replacing starters and alternators)
Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
Completing related tasks as assigned
