Now Hiring: Rental Territory Sales Representative – Southeast Texas (Equipment Rental Sales | Territory Sales Representative | Construction Equipment Solutions) Mustang Rental Services, a division of Mustang Cat, is hiring a driven and experienced Rental Territory Sales Representative to support our growing footprint in Southeast Texas. This role is focused on providing rental equipment solutions to customers in all phases of construction, industrial operations, and facilities maintenance, leveraging a diverse fleet of Caterpillar and non-Cat products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Technical, or related field
  • Equivalent experience considered in lieu of formal education
  • Demonstrated success in territory sales, especially in the rental equipment industry
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and product understanding
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment
  • Experience understanding equipment applications across construction, industrial, or municipal sectors

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and grow rental market share within a defined Southeast Texas sales territory
  • Represent Mustang Rental Services as an industry leader, communicating product features and advantages
  • Conduct customer site visits to provide tailored rental solutions and equipment recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and responsiveness
  • Generate quotes, proposals, and financing options using CRM and sales platforms
  • Stay up to date on CAT and non-CAT equipment, including aerial lifts, compressors, generators, and general rental tools
  • Meet and exceed territory sales goals through active prospecting and strategic account development
