About The Position

Pape’ Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Rental Territory Manager for its Construction & Forestry Division in Sparks, NV. This role offers a lucrative sales career with unlimited earning potential. This involves frequent collaboration with the Regional Rental Manager to coordinate rental opportunities, ensure timely submission of documentation, and build relationships with re-rental partners to increase department revenue. The manager will also monitor fleet usage to identify under-utilized units and manage time and territory effectively to achieve rental department goals. The role is field-based, involving extensive customer interaction and driving a company sales vehicle.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record

Responsibilities

  • Report to and assist the Regional Rental Manager with all requested tasks and duties
  • Actively promote the short-term rental fleet to customers in your assigned territory
  • Collaborate frequently with the Regional Rental Manager to coordinate rental opportunities
  • Ensure the timely submission of all required documentation
  • Spend a minimum of 80% of your time calling on customers, either independently or with the Territory Managers
  • Review and process all incoming rental leads within 24 hours of receipt
  • Focus on building relationships with re-rental partners and other companies to increase department revenue through re-rentals
  • Monitor fleet usage to identify under-utilized units
  • Monitor time and territory management to achieve the stated rental department goals
