About The Position

Pacific Mobile is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator (Rental) to manage complex rental operations for a defined California territory at our Riverside branch. This role requires proven experience in prevailing wage compliance, process ownership, and high-volume coordination. This position is best suited for candidates who are comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and being held accountable for compliance, accuracy, and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with prevailing wage compliance is required.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years in a project coordination, dispatcher, or operational support role, preferably in construction, equipment rental, or logistics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong Excel, Teams, and Outlook skills.
  • High attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active projects with competing deadlines without supervision.
  • Proven experience maintaining accurate administrative and financial records in compliance-driven environments.
  • Daily, professional communication with internal teams and external partners where accuracy and clarity directly impact cost, compliance, and customer outcomes.
  • Consistent ability to identify errors, self-correct, and meet deadlines in fast-paced operational settings.

Responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle coordination of rental projects, including lease activation, off-rent processing, relocations, and closeouts.
  • Prevailing wage and public works compliance, including documentation accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Identifying workflow errors and correcting issues independently.
  • Partnering with Sales and Accounting to move projects forward smoothly and on time.
  • Tracking and supporting budget compliance for each Rental Project, working closely with leadership to flag overages or inefficiencies.
  • Maintain detailed records in company databases for all subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce delays and ensure compliance with KPIs.
  • Build strong, reliable vendor relationships to support timely deliveries, dismantles, and relocations.
  • Participate in performance reviews and process audits to continuously improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with our Construction Services Project Management team, learning the fundamentals of construction project management.
