About The Position

The Rental Inspector will be responsible for the daily examination of rental equipment for TEC Equipment Company.

Requirements

• High school diploma; Industrial, vocational, or mechanical training is a plus
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in equipment rental services or related business with administrative emphasis
• Prolonged standing, sitting, walking, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching (with arms and hands), handling, talking, hearing, depth perception, lifting, vision (close, peripheral, depth, ability to adjust focus), and lifting/moving up to 35+ pounds
• Regular indoor and mild outdoor work requirements; Occasional local travel may be required; Work with a group and/or team; Work after normal business hours

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rental equipment operations, including inbound and outbound rental inspections and photographing equipment.
• Make local deliveries and pickups of parts and small rental equipment.
• Maintain current and accurate records and ensure safe and compliant work practices.
• Keep the yard, ready line, and shop cleaned and organized.
• Perform rotation of rental fleet on rental contracts; Source and maintenance for re-rentals.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of various equipment product lines.
• Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate high level communication skills; Foster and ensure cooperative and collaborative partner relationships; Maintain a positive attitude.
