About The Position

Louisiana Cat is seeking a Rental Coordinator to join its growing Rental operations at the Monroe, Louisiana location. This role is responsible for receiving equipment rental orders from customers and Outside Sales Representatives. Key duties include preparing contracts for equipment rentals, coordinating truck routes for delivery and pick-up, preparing and following up on customer invoices, maintaining databases, and assisting with the overall success of the rental department. The coordinator will also monitor customer accounts for verification, report and bill rental damages in conjunction with the Branch Manager, and promote positive customer service in line with Caterpillar and Louisiana CAT expectations. The position emphasizes maintaining good work habits and positively representing Caterpillar and Louisiana CAT.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to handle multiple tasks in an effectively, timely, and professional manner

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Well-developed communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in computers and related software

Responsibilities

Receive equipment rental orders from customers and Outside Sales Representatives
Prepare contracts for equipment rentals and route trucks to customer sites for delivery and pick up
Prepare, submit, and follow up on customer invoices
Maintain databases and assist with the overall success of the rental department
Monitor customer accounts and obtain account verification
Work with the Branch Manager to report rental damages to customer and bill rental damages
Promote positive customer service for Louisiana CAT Rental Stores according to Caterpillar and Louisiana CAT expectations
Maintain good work habits and positively promote Caterpillar and Louisiana CAT
