About The Position

Best Line Equipment is currently seeking a Rental Coordinator at our Mechanicsburg, PA location. As a Rental Coordinator, you will be responsible for the oversight of rental contracts, confirming delivery and status of construction, industrial, and heavy rental equipment, as well as generating and closing rental contracts. Rental Coordinators play a hands-on role in identifying and securing the proper construction, industrial and/or heavy equipment needs for our customers that range from homeowner to construction and industrial industry professionals. Job Overview: Answer incoming telephone calls from internal and external customers. Confirm reservations for customer will call and delivery orders, as well as pick-ups. Provide information to customers via telephone or face to face about rented equipment then locate and transfer equipment when necessary. Keep records of transactions such as, billing cycles for customers, logged pickups, calls for equipment and information on equipment transfers. Assist loading and/or unloading equipment for customers and drivers. Support inside and outside sales personnel. Clerical and housekeeping responsibilities providing the store has a clean and representable image.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum of six months of relevant experience in a similar position with understanding of a wide range of construction equipment (i.e. Industrial, Aerial, Heavy, etc.)
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact daily with customers and fellow employees
