About The Position

The Rental Cashier at Windham Mountain Resort is a front-line position responsible for completing sales of rental equipment, lift tickets, and group lessons. This role involves interacting with guests to understand their needs and ensuring efficient and accurate transactions.

Requirements

• Comfortable interacting with both guests and employees in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Ability to handle stressful, noisy, and crowded situations.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

• Accurate mathematical skills and ability to count currency.
• Efficiently and accurately operate a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and answer questions.
• Work efficiently with the ticketing system and rental department to sell products.
• Accurately operate the register assigned for the day.
• Review, explain, and redeem vouchers and coupons, explaining restrictions to guests when necessary.
• Accurately, neatly, and expediently complete cashier reports summarizing and accounting for daily revenues versus reported sales.
• Effectively communicate in a cheerful, knowledgeable, and professional manner with staff and guests.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
