We are hiring for Holiday Help positions at this time. We define this as someone who can work 50-100 hours (not including training hours) during 1 or more peak periods. Xmas/New Years: Dec 12- January 4, Presidents Week: February 13th-21st or Spring Break Starting March 15th. Their pass will become active after their first day of work and after completing all required documents and once they complete their required hours it will continue working at all vail resorts locations for the season no matter their last day worked.

Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends
  • Commitment to exceptional Customer Service
  • Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry
  • Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • A Rental Associate team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following: Mountain Activities Retail Rental operations Food and Beverage Support Ticket sales or scanning Lift Operations Base Area Operations

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops
  • Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
  • Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
  • Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard
  • May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales
  • Other duties as assigned
