About The Position

The Renovation Foreman is responsible for developing and executing effective renovation schedules that turn units over to properties on time; ordering all necessary materials and keeping accurate records of all units and items utilized for each.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong organizational skills with a solid background in electrical systems required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the renovation of units which could include but is not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, repairs, cleaning and painting.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations including, but not limited to, the use of a back brace, safety goggles and gloves as appropriate while renovating units.
  • Develops contract renovation schedules, monitors progress, and holds contractors accountable to strict production schedules.
  • Ensure all contracted duties adhere to a detailed scope of work.
  • Negotiate pricing for all contracted work, including change orders, staying within or below budget.
  • Order project related materials within budget guidelines; maintaining accurate documentation of each ordered item.
  • Maintain constant communication with community managers; providing daily project updates.
  • Inspect vacant units and inventory work to be performed adhering to the renovation process.
