We're seeking a strategic and results-driven Renewal Manager to join our High Value Accounts Growth team within the Mid Law segment. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to our most valuable law firm clients, owning the complete renewal lifecycle to drive retention, expansion, and long-term customer value. You'll combine consultative selling with data-driven insights to understand customer needs, mitigate risk, and deliver commercially sound renewals across our core product portfolio—including CoCounsel, Westlaw, and Practical Law. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-focused environment, excels at building cross-functional partnerships, and has a proven ability to balance customer advocacy with revenue growth objectives. About the Role In this role as a Renewal Manager, you will: Identify optimal engagement channels and validate customer needs to shape product plans and drive deals to close Schedule an average of 8-10 virtual and in-person appointments per week that advance customer conversations and renewal progress Own the end-to-end renewal motion to maximize retention, achieve renewal targets, and increase customer lifetime value by engaging customers during the renewal window Possess core knowledge across subsegment products (CoCounsel, Westlaw, Practical Law) and engage Sales Specialists where deep product expertise is required Understand macro/micro market trends, customer challenges, organizational structures, and decision-making processes; create monthly product engagement data analysis with expansion plans Partner cross-functionally with Sales and Customer Success to deliver timely, commercially sound renewals and support territory growth strategies Negotiate term and quantity changes, implement price increases, prevent downsell, minimize churn, and structure multi-year strategies Proactively identify risk through regular reviews of usage, adoption, and value metrics; flag risk signals early and drive mitigation plans with Sales Executives and CSMs Maintain renewal hygiene and forecast accuracy in Salesforce; provide clear risk/opportunity commentary and scenario plans to leadership using automated, insight-driven workflows About You You're a fit for the Renewal Manager role if your background includes: 3–5+ years in renewals, customer success, or account management Proven track record hitting retention and upsell targets Strong commercial acumen: pricing, discounting, negotiation, and multi‑year structuring Data fluency: interpret product usage and health scores Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable leading executive‑level negotiations and escalations High attention to detail and operational rigor
