Renewable Energy Technician - Multiple Levels [On-site]

We are seeking dedicated and talented individuals for roles ranging from entry-level Technician 1 to expert Technician 5 to perform maintenance, repair, and operational activities on utility-scale renewable energy assets, including wind turbines, Photovoltaic (PV) power systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Candidates will be placed at the level commensurate with their experience, qualifications, and successful completion of internal competency standards.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to complete all required training upon hire (Tech 1)
- Basic computer skills; ability to follow instructions (Tech 1)
- 0 to 1 year in renewable energy or equivalent (Tech 1)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Tech 1)
- 1 to 2 years in renewable energy or similar (Tech 2)
- Knowledge of schematics, multi-meters, and electrical/mechanical components (Tech 2)
- Must meet Qualified Electrical Worker standards (Tech 2)
- 2+ years of renewable energy experience (Tech 3)
- Qualified Electrical Worker standards + system software & industry competency (Tech 3)
- Deep competency in generation theory, arc flash standards, NEC, and diagnostics (Tech 3)
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, and lead site safety assessments.
- Maintain company property and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Accurately complete all administrative work, including daily maintenance logs, work orders, time tracking, and warranty/inventory documentation.
- Attend all required safety and technical training.
- Maintain the highest level of system integrity and support site budget control by seeking efficiencies.
- Technician levels 2-5 participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for system monitoring and fault identification.
