About The Position

Rendering - Storm Lake Pork Plant This position will work in any position in Rendering/Refinery departments.

Requirements

• ATTN Prior Tyson Workers: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

• Must have 1 month of experience operating heavy machinery

Responsibilities

• Must be able and willing to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk 10-12 hours a day.
• Must be able and willing to work around meat environment such as blood, fat, bones, hair, and any other cattle product.
• Must be able and willing to work in inclement environment; hot, cold, humid, icy, dusty, etc. with temperatures ranging from 20 degrees to 100 degrees.
• Must be able and willing to positions involve operating heavy machinery while keeping production running and filling out paperwork.
• Must be able and willing to driving forklift and transporting product to different areas as needed.
• Clean-up using a shovel, high pressure hoses as well as chemicals.
• Must be able and willing to complete all required training for the job and perform any other duties as assigned.
• Must be able and willing to perform position tasks will be available to work any assigned shift, including weekends, and available for overtime.
• The Rendering/Refinery facility operates 3 shifts, 24 hours a day.
