About The Position

The Renal Specialist Level I will identify the needs and priorities of the dialysis and apheresis patient through assessment. The Renal Specialist Level I plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The Renal Specialist Level I evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The Renal Specialist Level I is accountable for outcomes of patient care of assigned patients. Requirements

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer ICU and/or previous Dialysis experience.
• Responsibility of the Dialysis staff to give supporting documentation for Renal Specialist II to the Dialysis Unit Charge Nurse.
• Call is required.
