About The Position

REMOTE POSITION - Actively Hiring LIFE IS SHORT, DO WORK THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE BCA Financial Services, Inc. is looking for full-time Training Instructor to join our amazing Learning & Talent Development team. This is a Monday through Friday, full-time position between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST). Individuals who live in one of the following states are eligible for a remote opportunity: FL, GA, MO, NC, NE, SC, TN, TX, or VA. Summary / Objective: The Training Instructor plays a critical role within the organization, helping employees cultivate their talents to assure exceptional workforce preparation. Requirements

  • High school diploma, some college coursework preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience developing adult learners, preferably in a contact center, customer service or financial recovery environment
  • Strong bias for the customer and employee journey
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting demands and competing priorities
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in development and application of Adult Learning Principles
  • Perform basic troubleshooting with students to limit technology related delays (no audio, cannot see video, ETC.)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Have a quiet and private workspace
  • High speed internet with the ability to hardwire via 50 ft. ethernet cable from modem to your PC. Must be a sufficient speed to support video/web/audio and voice-over-IP (VoIP) (at least 20mbs download and 10mbs upload). Wi-Fi and hotspots are not supported.
  • You must meet all the technical requirements prior to the first day of training
  • You must live in one of the following states: FL, GA, MO, NE, NC, SC, TN, TX, or VA.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate learning opportunities for new and existing employees
  • Present information to learners using a variety of adult centric instructional techniques and formats such as lecture, facilitated self-paced programs, simulations, role-playing, individual and group exercises, etc.
  • Deliver technical, soft skill, compliance, and customer service training through employee onboarding, continuing education, and ad hoc lessons
  • Assess development opportunities through observation, surveys, quality and skill assessments, and calibration with leadership, make recommendations to support continual improvement
  • Foster a learning environment that promotes the value of continuous improvement, always supporting the value employees offer
  • Incorporate the organization’s values in all staff development practices and interactions
  • Document training activities within the Learning Management System and monitor training completion reports
  • Pursue training and development opportunities; strive to continuously build knowledge and skills, share expertise with others
  • Assist in special projects and perform other duties at the discretion of leadership assigned to the Learning and Talent Development department
