About The Position

In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the security posture of our organization by identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats. You will be responsible for deep-dive incident analysis, utilizing AI, ML, and SOAR capabilities to improve efficiency and accuracy within the Security Operations Center (CSOC). Your expertise will help shape our approach to incident response and threat detection, making significant contributions to the safety of critical systems and data sets.

Requirements

3+ years of IT security experience with exposure to AI/ML projects
2+ years of experience in network traffic analysis
Strong knowledge of Boolean Logic and TCP/IP fundamentals
Understanding of control frameworks and risk management techniques
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of IDS/IPS technologies and methodologies
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Hands-on experience with cybersecurity automation and AI/ML techniques

Responsibilities

Identify cybersecurity problems that may require mitigating controls
Analyze network traffic to identify exploit or intrusion-related attempts
Recommend detection mechanisms for exploit and intrusion-related attempts
Provide subject matter expertise on network-based attacks and intrusion methodologies
Escalate items requiring further investigation to the Threat Management team
Execute operational processes in response to identified security incidents
Utilize AI/ML tools to detect anomalies and improve threat intelligence
Monitor alerts and respond to security incidents across various platforms
