About the Role OpenEd Proctors and Test Administrators (“Testers”) support the high-quality delivery of K–12 assessment events across multiple states. This is a student- and family-facing role and serves as a professional representative of OpenEd during live assessment sessions. This role is ideal for current or former teachers, school staff, and education professionals who are comfortable working with students, following testing protocols, and supporting academic assessments in a virtual environment. This is a remote, part to full-time role (depending on testing season capacity). Employment Structure: This role is employed through our staffing partner, Kelly Services. While your day-to-day work will support OpenEd's testing programs and you'll collaborate closely with our team, Kelly Services serves as the employer of record for payroll, onboarding, and employment administration. Responsibilities include either: Administering assessments directly (often 1:1) as a Tester , or Supervising and supporting testing sessions as a Proctor The role also includes pre-assessment orientations and post-assessment record-keeping and data support. OpenEd assessment events occur throughout the school year, with testing windows varying by district and state. Priority scheduling (typically between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , based on state time zones) is generally given to Proctors/Testers who commit to 25 or more testing hours per week during active testing windows.
