ZAN Remote Pilot Operator Supervisor
About The Position
SAIC is seeking an experienced, Full-time, Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) Supervisor to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Anchorage ARTCC (ZAN) in Anchorage, AK. This role supports air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA is responsible for ensuring a high level of safety and professionalism from air traffic control specialists, employing over 14,000 controllers who safely separate more than 50,000 aircraft daily. To meet these needs, the FAA provides training to new and current specialists, utilizing contractor-provided instructional services at facilities across the U.S. and its Territories. SAIC provides all necessary training and training program support to prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the activities of CTS personnel providing RPO support
- Direct RPO schedules
- Monitor and oversee daily operations within area of responsibility
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of RPO time cards
