As a Remote Service Engineer within the Service Center, you’ll help our team keep our customers up & running by supporting our team’s in-house instrument repair operations. Your Role: You’ll work alongside our Service Technician team to deliver the highest quality instrument repairs to our customers, including helping to rollout new service offerings and constantly improve services already available:
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise with Agilent HPLC modules and repair
- 4+ years of experience in a similar position or experience as an end user
- Extensive experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
- A Bachelors or master’s degree within the science field – e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Agilent LCMS systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a Customer First mindset and model effective customer communication
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and testing of Agilent HPLC modules
- Provide insight and best practices balancing cost effectiveness without sacrificing top quality repair
- Monitor product line performance via metrics and make data-driven decisions
- Work with other teams in the event of escalations
- Update documentation including repair checklists, work instructions, or other supplemental documentation
