The Contact Center Specialist Level 1 will provide excellent customer service while responding to inbound calls from borrowers and financial institutions as well as perform outbound calls to insurance companies and agencies to verify insurance information. Apply to State National Companies for a position as a Contact Center Specialist and use your excellent problem solving and people skills to provide appropriate answers and resolution to a variety of insurance-related questions. You’ll respond to inbound calls from our financial institution customers and insurance agents and make outbound calls or web verifications to insurance companies to confirm insurance information.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service orientation with active listening skills and a high attention to detail
  • Professional verbal and written skills
  • Ability to solve routine problems using established procedures
  • Ability to type a minimum of 25WPM
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
  • US Work Authorization
  • Must have Ethernet, wireless not acceptable
  • Minimum bandwidth required: Download speed: minimum of 3.0 Mbps Upload speed: minimum 1 Mbps
  • In home office must be a quiet, uninterrupted work environment during all working hours.
  • Cable or DSL modem and router must be located near the PC for cabling purposes.
  • PC must not be used by any other household member.
  • No unapproved software will be installed on the PC without approval from SNC management.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with auto insurance or collateral protection insurance a plus

Responsibilities

  • Quickly analyze account history on a proprietary computer system and provide accurate information to assist in one-call resolution
  • Perform insurance verifications via outbound calls and the internet
  • Meet individual and team performance standards while maintaining good attendance and dependability
  • Show courtesy and professionalism on all calls to ensure a positive customer experience
