Processing customer payments and exceptions in a timely and accurate manner to customer accounts. What You Will Be Doing Prepare customer payments for processing, ensuring accuracy and timely workflow. Perform research and adjustment activities for payment exceptions. Process exception items that require manual review or follow‑up. Coordinate setup and maintenance of remittance processing equipment. Maintain inventory of remittance processing supplies. Prepare outgoing collection notices as needed (non‑ negotiable items only). Follow operational procedures to process client transactions and verify outputs. Identify and escalate equipment or workflow issues to leadership. Support special tasks or other duties as assigned. What You Bring High school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of remittance or item processing operations preferred. Ability to recognize calculation or balancing errors. Strong organizational skills and the ability to sequence and prioritize work. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stand, walk, or lift up to 30 lbs as part of normal job duties. Comfort working in a production‑based environment with deadlines.
