About The Position

As a Remanufacturing Technician III, you will leverage your advanced skills and experience in diagnostic and repair work to lead and support disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of vending machines and coolers. This role involves using various tools and techniques to ensure equipment is prepared for the next steps in the remanufacturing process, while also mentoring junior technicians and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Remanufacturing Technicians III must be able to perform all tasks conducted by Remanufacturing Technician I and II in the assembly process and may also rotate through all or most of the process rather than being assigned a specific task.

Requirements

  • Follow all prescribed safety and security measures protecting all associates and company assets
  • Advanced ability to use hand and power tools
  • Effective quality management and technical skills needed
  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English and follow both written and verbal instruction
  • Ability to utilize all company provided resources and technology
  • Ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines
  • High school diploma or general education degree or a suitable combination of education and experience
  • Repeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs.
  • Continuous bending, kneeling squatting, grasping, reaching, fine manipulation and exposure to chemicals and noise

Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed safety measures and procedures.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily goals
  • Operate handheld/PC
  • Perform detailed diagnostics to identify issues and implement necessary repairs.
  • Review the weekly production schedule, and assist team in achieving department and facility goals
  • Column mapping of product to match selection button, and setting vend pricing
  • Test equipment for proper operation and conduct through quality control (QC) checks.
  • Complete visual, mechanical and needs assessment to determine course of action or pre-work
  • Use diagnostic tools and other tests to analyze and repair cooling, wiring, mechanical and software issues
