About The Position

This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO) , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the Department of Defense, the combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission around the globe. HII-Mission Technologies is seeking is currently seeking a Relocation Specialist to work in our Virginia Beach, VA office. The Relocation Specialist prepares, manages, and tracks Trip Reports for the program. Manages and reconciles estimated to actual travel costs and ODCs.

Requirements

  • 6 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 4 years of relevant experience with master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Have excellent time management, verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • Possess demonstrated experience in the areas of conflict resolution
  • Be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations
  • Be a dependable team player
  • Prior experience working with government contractors supporting the DOD or other military customers
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving technical, operational, or organizational challenges

Responsibilities

  • Represents organizational unit on administrative matters
  • Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures
  • Performs as a generalist a combination of administrative tasks in such functional areas as finance, human resources, purchasing, research, and development
  • May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required
  • Track and maintain Trip Reports
  • Coordinate with subcontractors' travel teams for ensuring proper communication of required deliverables
  • Develop, evaluate, revise, and update project materials such as publications, and online resources
  • Identify key partners within the organization and build these partnerships
  • Facilitate meetings, training, group discussions, and other events
  • Aid in the organization of planning meetings
  • Create and support project outreach, marketing, and information dissemination
  • Support budget tracking and invoicing in accordance with federal guidelines
  • Draft required documents such as project reports and position descriptions
  • Maintain ongoing and effective communication with the project team, staff members, and partners
  • Other duties as assigned
