About The Position

The Department of Philosophy & Religion in the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors in Religious Studies. Responsibilities for this role include creating syllabus and course-related materials in accord with department guidelines for an academic REL-205 World Religions course suitable for a liberal arts curriculum at a non-religiously-affiliated private university, teaching the course according to departmental guidelines, providing meeting times outside of class, administering a final exam during the University-specified period, and completing course grading and submitting final grades through the on-line system. The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Religious Studies or a related academic discipline, with college teaching experience preferred. Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall, spring and summer. Requirements
