About The Position

The Department of Philosophy & Religion in the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors in Religious Studies. Requirements

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in Religious Studies or a related academic discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • College teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create syllabus and course-related materials in accord with department guidelines for an academic REL-205 World Religions course that is appropriate for a liberal arts curriculum at a non-religiously-affiliated private university.
  • Teach course according to departmental guidelines.
  • Provide meeting times outside of class.
  • Administer a final exam during the University-specified final exam period at the end of the semester.
  • Complete course grading and submit final grades through the on-line system.
