As a Relief Veterinarian you will be responsible for delivering preventive care at our weekday or weekend Community Clinics, ensuring that PetIQ procedures are followed to maintain our reputation as a leader in quality affordable preventative healthcare for our pet parents. PetIQ provides convenient and affordable pet health and wellness products and veterinary services to pets and their families through retail and ecommerce channels across the country. Requirements

  • Must be a licensed DVM in the state looking to practice in
  • Liability insurance: 1M per occurrence/2M aggregate
  • Ability to drive to a variety of locations
  • Weekend availability
  • Ability to use iPad/Tablet
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Responsibilities

  • On site Veterinarian care for our weekday and weekend community clinics
  • Perform brief medical exam, including vitals
  • Administer vaccines, limited diagnostic testing, microchipping, nail trim
  • Educate pet parents on preventative healthcare & products
  • Updating of electronic medical records
  • Clearly deliver and perform up to PetIQ medical standards & best practices
  • Strengthen PetIQ brand
