Relief Veterinarian
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The competitive candidate will have 2+ years of general practice experience, an interest in urgent care, a strong work ethic, ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and have a true interest in joining with VCA Chatoak’s passion for serving our community. Among the reasons to consider joining VCA Chatoak are: Offer appointments from 9am to 5pm Monday – Saturday Available for walk-ins, urgent care and emergencies from 7am to 12am, 7 days a week Provide overnight care for hospitalized patients 8 associate veterinarians and a board certified surgeon This would be a full time position. Schedule would be one to two overnight shifts from 6pm to 8am. You would see emergencies from 6p to 12am and be available for hospitalized patients from 12am to 8am. We are closed at 12am to 7am to incoming emergencies. One shift is reserved for day emergencies, urgent care and walk-ins, 8am to 6pm. 2 shifts would be set aside for appointments only, 9am to 6pm. Compensation: $1500.00 day shift / $1700.00 overnight If you are a current associate, you need to apply through our internal career site.
