About The Position

VCA All Our Pets, located in beautiful East Sacramento, CA, is seeking a part-time relief veterinarian. The hospital is AAHA-accredited and focuses on practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team, emphasizing low-stress patient handling. They utilize modern diagnostic tools including digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house lab work, and dental x-ray units. The hospital maintains strong relationships with local specialists, facilitating referrals when necessary. Veterinarians are supported by a technician during each 30-minute appointment to assist with history taking, restraint, treatment plan review, and diagnostics/treatments. In-house ultrasounds and echocardiograms are provided by board-certified specialists. The hospital is closed on Sundays and does not handle after-hours emergencies.
