Walnut Street Center is a not-for-profit human service agency that empowers adults with Intellectual Disabilities to live engaged and meaningful lives. WSC provides this by offering quality, outcome-based services which meet evolving stakeholder's needs and bring together caring, engaged, and informed family members, friends, community partners, and employees to support these individuals. WSC is actively seeking Relief/Per Diem Residential Counselors to help empower adults with intellectual disabilities to make more meaningful life choices by working directly with those individuals in one of our many programs. This role is interesting because you will: Ensure community engagement Assist with ensuring a livable environment Participate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of each individual's goals Provide therapeutic support and assist in Behavior Support Plans, if appropriate Transport individuals Medication Administration Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living such as feeding, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal care, and nutritional needs
