About The Position

The Relief Property Manager is expected to perform the following managerial duties while on site: email and phone correspondence with customers, leasing, payment processing, merchandise sales, collections, light maintenance and cleaning, and administrative office functions, primarily on the computer. He or she will interface with the public face to face, by computer (internet), and by phone. The Relief Property Manager is expected to present a clean and professional office to Storage Xxtra customers and while performing all job duties, is expected to demonstrate excellent customer service. The Relief Property Manager must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel to our McDonough and Stockbridge stores. Mileage reimbursement is included. The Relief Property Manager is expected to work five days a week and be on site during the entire day except for a one hour lunch break. The Relief Property Manager must also be available to work on Saturdays. Our standard office hours are: M-F: 9am - 6pm Sat: 9am - 4pm Sun: Closed The Relief Property Manager position is eligible for Storage Xxtra’s employee benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental and vision insurance, 6 days of paid time off for holidays, and 16 additional days of general paid time off for the year. Pay starting between $18/hr and $21/hr based on experience and skill level, with additional monthly bonus compensation possible.

Requirements

  • Customer Service experience, preferably as a manager or assistant manager in property management, retail, or hospitality
  • Must have a positive attitude and be honest
  • Basic computer knowledge, such as typing, emailing, printing, etc is required
  • reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel to our McDonough and Stockbridge stores
  • be willing to work five days a week and be on site during the entire day except for a one hour lunch break
  • be available to work on Saturdays

Nice To Haves

  • More advanced knowledge including familiarity with Google Workspace
