Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Coordinator the Bridges Unit Adult Mental Health Services, and the clinical direction of the Program’s Physician, will primarily be responsible for daily Nursing care for patients at Bridges. Responsible for telephone screens/intakes; admissions; nursing health assessments; administration of TB tests, administration of medication as prescribed by the physician or in keeping with physician’s standing orders; and reading/recording; contact with Physician as needed; attending staff meetings, scheduling admission appointments, and completion of nursing progress notes. Routine cleaning of facility; laundry and simple meals. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
